Very unusual vintage ceramic tureen or lidded serving bowl.

This quite a small round serving bowl. It has a stunning decorative design in gold and torquoise. Also a decorative handle with cross over detail at the ends.

It has no makers mark so it is difficult to place its origins - I bought it on a shopping trip in France but it is not a traditional French style.

It is in very good condition with no cracks crazing or repairs.

Lovely decorative piece or it could continue to be used for its intended purpose or used for display.
