Rare French antique pink enamel water jug or pitcher.
Pink enamel is rare to find these days and this pitcher is a beautiful example. Tall and elegant this water jug would have originally been used with a bowl etc for washing - prior to plumbing. It now makes a stunning decorative item either with some beautiful wild flowers on a farmhouse table or maybe empty on a shelf etc.
It is a pretty baby pink colour with remnants of thin gold bands. It remains water tight. It has obvious signs of wear and chipping to the enamel (see photos) which just adds to its authenticity and great patina.
