Originally used in France to store oils and grains.

Beautiful old rustic patina, this beautiful jar looks great as a stand alone centerpiece or maybe as a flower vase, artist studio vase, planter, there are just lots of uses.

This is a solid and very heavy piece of pottery, glazed with an earthy beige color. It is in good condition for its age with just a little wear. There is a small hairline crack to the rim - see photos. It came with the little lid, which is included in the price.
