Very large white French antique ironstone footed cake stand or patisserie stand.

This is a rare and stunning item, few have survived this number of years in such good condition. There is no makers stamp on the base, but there are some numbers pressed into the ceramic.

It is in good condition for its age, the plate has age related tea staining and crazing to the glaze - which I love - but there are no cracks chips or repairs see photos

This cake stand makes a perfect item for display in the kitchen or maybe other rooms in the house to display something quirky. It would also look fabulous in a restaurant / shop or deli setting.
