Traditional pair of French antique cast iron shutter holdbacks.
They are in the shape of French women wearing a hat, great detailing, good working condition. The 'tail' of the tie back is fixed into the wall, the ladies head is hinged to fold down to release the shutter and secure upright to hold the shutter in place.

As you can see this is a lovely original pair of shutter holdbacks. They have the weathered remains of old grey paint creating a beautiful aged patina. Despite this age, they are fully working order.
