French antique traditional metal shop or store bell.

I love these old shop bells mainly because the sound it makes is the perfect nostalgic sound of an old shop bell - for those of us old enough to remember :). So when a customer opens the shop door it alerts the shop keeper.

It would now be perfect in a traditional vintage shop, cafe, or maybe part of a film set.

It can be fitted in two ways. The spike at the back is used to fit it to the wall. It can either be hung over the door so the shop door hits the bell as it is opened, or fit a pully system, the bell is inside or outside of the shop and the pully is attached to the shop door - again it rings when opened.

Its so pretty and traditional it would also be perfect in a garden or used on a side gate etc.

It is in lovely well used vintage condition. There is a hairline crack to the metal bell, which does not impact the sound / use at all.
